AMC Fearfest Week: Trivia For Jason Goes To Hell
Tonight, Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday will be airing and below is the time the film will be showing. The time is for the Eastern Time Zone in the U.S. AMC felt that Jason Goes To Hell was a powerful enough film to conclude the Friday the 13th prime time marathon all by itself. Watching Part 8 now.. I looked forward to watching it with you guys, which I consider is a rare treat, but my allergies got the best of me. Hanging on tight for JGTH! FWIW, I think at least four or five of these, if not all, will be shown in a mini marathon on the 29th. I would like to make a toast to the Friday films! Btw, there’s an old video store down the street that has an inflatable Friday The 13th Part 8 promotional pumpkin hanging from the ceiling. I tried to buy it, but the guy said it had been hanging since the vhs came out years ago, and it had sentimental value. Just thought I’d share that. It’s showtime folks!
This movie has the best opening of the entire series-hell, probably the best opener of a slasher flick period. It’s got it all…in the first seven minutes no less.
Seems just like yesterday when this movie came out. I love the beginning of this film. Wow, nice thong shot.

I like how serious a threat the S.W.A.T. Team treated Jason. This movie depicted him as more of a major problem, then a backwoods legend.
Creighton Duke is a great character. Always liked Steven Williams as an actor. “I don’t think so.”

I love this movie even more every time I watch it. I know I would have preferred Jason actually be in it throughout, but hell…there’s no denying the movie is good. Most people hate it because Jason is largely absent, but if you look at the production values, it’s a great movie.

A spin off for Duke would be awesome. They could show his other bountys and have him go after other supernatural slashers even.
I would’ve loved to see allison smith and kari keegan rip each others clothes off and start making out. a man can dream.

The Director’s/Writer’s Audio commentary for this movie on the DVD is hilarious. Even they can’t help but laugh at some of the stuff that happens.
Does the body jumping explain why Jason looks so different from parts 1-2 and 2-3? Do you think he had this talent pre zombie?
