-
- Jason was still 11 at the end of the original when he emerged from the
lake (after twenty or so years). If there were only five years in between
the first and second films, how could Jason have become full grown -
especially since he hadn't grown at all while in the lake?
- EXPLANATION - Alice was not physically attacked by Jason, it
was a dream or psychic vision.
-
- When Alice gets in the shower, it seems the time it takes her is way too short,
even for just rinsing off. She seems to end her shower right before the phone rings,
and it appeared as if she was getting out anyways.
- EXPLANATION - Pay attention. Her opening the curtain and getting out occur at
different times. The phone ringing is an audio segue that leads you to think
the shots are subsequent, but she is not actually getting out when she opens the
curtain. It's a "gotcha" where she looks right at the camera.
-
- In the prologue, when Alice is scared by a cat "jumping" in the window
it is apparent the cat was actually thrown through the window by a
crew member.
-
- When Scott hits Terri in the ass with the slingshot, he hits her in the lower back,
but she grabs her left butt cheek.
-
- When Crazy Ralph is strangled with the wire, the wire is placed over
the tree and around his neck which seems quite strange considering the tree
would be too tall to reach over.
-
- The policeman leaves his car in the middle of the
road when he gets out to chase Jason, but when Ginny and Paul come back
that night, Jason sure has done a good job of hiding a bright white police car in the
dark woods.
-
- When Scott is dancing with Muffin, his shirt collar is up
on the close-up shots, but changes to down in the shot through the window.
-
- After Terri takes off all her clothes, she is shown walking slowly
into the lake. Her hair appears to already be wet even though she hasn't gone in the water yet.
-
- In the moment before Scott's throat is slit, we can see the sharp end of
the machete going over his face in the direction of his throat - but
when his throat is slit, the blunt end of the machete is used to do it.
-
- Also when Jason slits Scott's throat the machete cuts his neck straight across
- yet the wound is diagonal.
-
- When Terri is walking back to her cabin for a knife, her pants are untied
at the waist, yet when she walks in the cabin, they are tied with a bow. On
the way back to Scott, they are untied again.
-
- When Paul offers the counselors a last night on the town, he claims
"We've only got two cars", but later Vickie goes to hers to get a hairbrush. Wouldn't
they have borrowed hers instead of Ginny's old clunker?
-
- When Mark gets the machete in the face, the camera cuts to a far shot. In
the first shot, he is in the middle of the porch and Jason is right behind him.
When it shows the front, he is right on the stairs, and Jason is nowhere to be
seen.
-
- When Jason enters the cabin after killing Mark, you can see a plaid umbrella under a small table to the left of the doorway. When Vickie comes back from changing clothes, she is carrying that same umbrella.
-
- During the bar segment, the band is playing an instrumental number, although in one shot the frontman can be seen singing "silent" lyrics into his microphone.
-
- When Paul and Ginny return from the bar, Paul turns off the car and the windshield
wipers are pointing straight up. Later when Ginny returns to the car, they are down.
-
- Jason is shown dragging Vickie's very bloody body down the stairs, and
yet there is no blood left on the stairs.
-
- When Ginny is in her red VW bug trying to get it started, you can see the reflection
of Jason's sack in the front windshield as he waits for his cue to jump up.
-
- After Jason tears through the hood of Ginny's car with the pitchfork,
Ginny opens the car door and knocks him to the ground. Immediately
after she gets out of the car Jason gets up - but in the next shot, as
Ginny is running you can still see Jason lying on the ground.
-
- When Ginny is hiding in front of the car her head is visible above the hood
(see her shadow on top of it), where Jason could see it from where he is
walking.
-
- When Jason enters Ginny's cabin, all that is shown is his feet. After running through rain and mud, he leave no tracks whatsoever, not even wet spots.
-
- Also in Ginny's cabin, you can see the mic wire's shadow on the floor when Jason starts walking towards the cots.
-
- When Ginny moves to hit Jason with the machete, he deflects it with the pickaxe. The machete hits the shrine where Terri's body is lying, and her corpse flinches!
-
- Paul picks Ginny up after she falls in the creek, and her head is resting on his left arm. In the next shot it shows them coming around the cabin and her head is now resting on his right arm.
- EXPLANATION - It was a long walk back from Jason's shack, so it's possible that he stopped and changed positions.
-
- If Muffin came back at the end, then what dog (with a purple bow!) did Sandra
and Jeff find the remains of in the woods?
-
- What happened to the rest of the counselors at the bar? Did they stay out the entire
night? Not one of them is seen at the camp in the morning.
- EXPLANATION - The drunken bastards stayed out all night at a bar somewhere in town. (Great
bunch of counselors!)
