Biography: "Alex Diakun was born in rural Alberta, Canada. He began his schooling in Chilliwack, B.C. and finished with a BFA from the University of Alberta. Diakun has been acting for over three decades and has appeared in over 200 stage plays. Recent credits include playing an intelligent, belligerent, blue faced alien in the series Andromeda, reprising his role as a time traveler in The Outer Limits, and landing a role in the feature Valentine.
On Davinci's Inquest, Diakun plays Forensic Investigator 'Chick Savoy', a fount of information about the ways and wherefores of crime and death. The role was written specifically for him by his long-time friend, series creator Chris Haddock.
