Biography: "Steve Lucescu started his stunt career just shy of his eighteenth birthday. He first studied Martial Arts at age 10, and eight years later concluded a Martial Arts Demonstration in Fort Erie by disarming three armed assailants. A Buffalo-based producer approached him saying that Steve's demonstration was the exact end-sequence that he envisioned for his movie. A few weeks later he hired Steve to choreograph and perform in his movie.
Steve's job as a Stunt Coordinator is to make the Director's vision a reality - he is responsible for the creation and engineering of all stunts on the production. First and foremost, the scripted action must be accomplished safely. This includes hiring properly qualified stunt performers, stunt riggers and safety personnel. It also includes determining and implementing safety precautions and utilizing any equipment necessary to achieve the 'final shot'.
Steve Lucescu has been a stunt coordinator or stunt performer in excess of 250 films and more than 500 television episodes. He has given several stunt acting workshops around the Toronto area." - ACTRA Toronto Biography

James Braddock, the 1935 Heavyweight Boxing Champion, and currently in Australia training
Russell Crowe for this upcoming Ron Howard Directed project. He will also be Coordinating the remake
of John Carpenter's Assault on Precinct 13 later this year."
