Friday The 13th: The Series (Minisode)

If you’ve never checked out 80’s TV’s excellent Friday The 13th: The Series (finally on DVD!) here’s a relative painless way to sample. YouTube user SailorsPlayhouse has cut the first episode down to 10 minutes, keeping only the episodes’ touchpoints.

  1. am I the only one who doesn’t like these mini tv shows?

  2. not alone man

  3. Great post! Love this series, wish it had gone on longer than three seasons.

  4. maaan!!! these fucking series has nothing to do with jason!!!!…WTF!!!!

  5. Yeah, they were a kind of cheesey but it was like a car accident at the same time, you know you can’t not look. I seen pretty much all the episodes when they were running them on the SciFi channel like 8 years ago. That Robey chick was kind of hot. I actually have a movie called Play Nice where she gets naked for like 80% of the movie. Pretty awesome!!!

  6. I loved that show.

  7. im gonna buy the first season at fye tomorrow or on amazon and if i like it ill buy 2 and 3 on dvd when they come out

  8. these shows are so boring its like they riped off the name for ratings

  9. Hey Pete I checked into that Play Nice movie on IMDB and I found out that Amy Steel is also in it. I will definitely have to rent it now.

  10. I hate the TV show. It has nothing to do with Jason, and just isn’t that fun to watch. Maybe they should have picked a different title instead of using Friday the 13th: The Series.

  11. They came on for halloween on scifi, and I couldn’t even stomach any of the episodes.

  12. I’m not a fan of these mini-sodes, but I do understand, its a way to get people of today’s generation into old shows that are no longer on TV, so its cool. I would rather have a site with the full episodes.

  13. No one said just because it’s called “Friday the 13th The Series”, that it had to deal with Jason. Friday the 13th is concidered a bad luck day (actually, it’s one of my favorites) and the objective of the show was to reclaim cursed (bad luck) objects.
