I watched the deluxe version recently and it was the first time I saw the alternate/original ending.Both endings are horrible, do you think the Young jason trying to escape through big jason mouth wouldve been any better?

I didn't like jason's face under the mask, or him turning into a little boy. Since when does Toxic waste turn you into a little kid?

Was a dumb ending. I actually like the movie, despite all its flaws, but the ending was stupid. Oh well, I'm sure it was made with the best of intentions.

The whole thing that ruined this movie for me was Jason's Face at the then end. I can forgive alot of things. Jasons Face in Part VII is badass, so to see what appears to be a mash potatoe sculpture for Jason's face always made me mad. The only positive to this movie is it has the coolest Title and opening credits of the series lol. The whole Jason as a boy thing was pretty dumb.

You're right Rob Hedden did not want to show it, but the producers made him.

Yea, the whole ending was garbage. This is the only ending in the entire franchise that I cannot stand. The other thing that bothered me was that, after being covered in toxic waste, Jason began staggering down the corridor after Renee. Jason is a walking corpse, why would he stagger?

I agree JF. The ending was a joke in a great deal of aspects, but all other parts besides the ending are ok with me. The face was like an evil character from "tales from the darkside" and I still find our lead girl to be adorable, but the worst final girl in the series. The toxic idea was horrible. Jason sure does seem to stagger for no apparent reason. When did toxic waste become the fountain of youth?

The alternate ending....well.....could possibly be worse than the original. But then again, nothing is worse than what we got. Its almost shameful....and that says alot considering how many outside our friday "circle" view the whole series as awful.

As with all Friday films, I try to find the positives.

They should have had Jason take a bus back to Crystal Lake. I would have liked that more

I heard that there was one ending that just showed Jason as the melted corpse that he WOULD be.
