Howdy,

I was a member on the old board (completely forgotten what name I used, probably my real name!) when Blake and Brenna were still running things. Anyway, I'm from Dublin. Great to see a F13th forum up and running again! How long has this 'new' version been around and who do I need to thank? :)

Thank Dusk (John Klyza), he's done an outstanding job with the site and the forum is still in its early stages. Its been around since the end of December 2024.

Huge thanks to Mr. John Klyza a.k.a. Dusk. My respect, big time, because this is a serious job to hold down. As a wanna-be writer, I'm drawn to anything that is creative and my recollection of the previous board was a place packed with artistic energy and excitment. Every day I visited that board, and back then, someone brought something new to the legacy of Jason Vooheers, whether it was some commentary on the series, a kick ass drawing of the man in the mask, maybe a mouth watering short film (even a feature or two!) or an incredible piece of fan fiction. I knew this was the board to be on. I know some of you will laugh when I say that, but I honestly believe F13th fans (more than most genre fans) are a hugely creative bunch. Long story short, I'm pretty excited to be back on the board.

Favourite Friday films would be: The Final Chapter and Part 2.

I used to be around in those days myself, I'd forgotten about the creative energies that bursting at the seams on the old forum, but you're absolutely right about that. I remember the old fanfics that involved forum members, I think Wolf did those. So many good memories here.
