as for my personal opinion of the matter for my choice for best killer and best films goes
to the snow phantom from the cold prey series without question
the first cold prey is a Supurb horror film the sequel is great and the 3rd film a prequel is goodish but not great but the killer is great in all 3 specialy in the first he just flows with cold icy death his outfit is made to have him perfectly blend with the snowy inviroment he dwells in
and his outfit /mask work just like michael myers mask did in the original halloween as this stark white form just flows ghost like out of the darkness

Dr. Satan(House of a Thousand Corpses) should be on that list too!

My picks would be Chromeskull and Leslie Vernon, and maybe the demon from 'Insidious'(the Darth Maul lookin' mofo!).

Realistically the most successful and culturally impactful is Jigsaw in the SAW series.
