Biography: "Steven Williams was born in Memphis, Tennessee. During the height of the Vietnam war, Steven was drafted to serve in the US Army. An avid boxer, it was here that Steven's passion found its place. While stationed in Germany in the Army's 2nd Armored Division, he went on to become the Divisional Champion with the United States Boxing Team.

After serving in the army, Steven returned to Chicago and worked as a postman. Later in his career, Steven had the opportunity to co-star with Chuck Norris in Missing In Action II, which focuses on the MIAs of the Vietnam War.

One of the roles he is most remembered for is that of the compassionate 'Captain Fuller' from the hit TV series, 21 Jump Street. Jump Street has been praised by many youth organizations for responsibly addressing the social issues of the time and is still currently in syndication in over 60 countries.

Steven also appeared on the TV series The X-Files as the menacing 'Mr. X'. Steven took this undefined character and developed it into one of the most captivating recurring roles on the show. Since the show's creators had left his character's background a mystery, Steven was left to create one of his own. In addition to his recurring role as 'X', he has also starred in the series, LA Heat. In LA Heat, Steven plays 'August Brooks', a cop and loving family man. One other series that he has starred in is Linc's, which airs on BET and focuses on him as a diner owner.

Whe asked what his dream role would be, he responded, 'To be the best Steven Williams that I can be best friend that I can be and the greatest grand-dad in the world to my grand children.'" - Official Steven Williams Site
